Head of Legal

The Company is seeking a Head of Legal to lead the establishment of its legal department. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's global expansion, M&A, and IPO preparation, with a focus on both domestic and international legal work. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to tackle global climate change issues, and the Head of Legal will have significant autonomy in building and leading the legal organization. Responsibilities include the review and drafting of a wide range of contracts, planning and implementing in-house compliance training, and providing legal support for overseas subsidiaries and projects. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' corporate legal experience, a Bachelor's degree, and be fluent in Japanese with business-level English. The ideal candidate will also have a Japanese lawyer qualification and experience in overseas legal affairs.
