Senior VIce President, Data Governance by Design Lead

The Company is seeking a Data Governance by Design Lead with a strong background in data governance, particularly within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives and implementing proactive data governance for data assets early in their lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with HR initiative and data owners, assessing data governance needs for new initiatives or changes to HR applications/processes, and ensuring alignment with data governance policies and procedures. The Lead will also be expected to provide leadership, guidance, and support to the data governance by design team, monitor the success of the framework, and lead improvement initiatives. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. Applicants should have over 10 years' of experience in data governance, a strong understanding of data quality management and data risk management principles, and preferably, knowledge of HR data. The role requires the ability to manage a high-performing team, strong project implementation skills, and the ability to navigate from current state to proposed solutions while managing stakeholder expectations. Collaboration, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is a working knowledge of data operating model practices, data governance, and data compliance within large financial services firms.
