Interim Head of Technology & Innovation

The Company is seeking a Head of Technology and Innovation to strengthen technology readiness, resilience, and digital transformation across its Caribbean operations, while coordinating regional emergency telecommunications preparedness and response. Responsibilities include overseeing ICT continuity, systems, assets, procurement, operational standards, and staff capacity-building; ensuring technology governance, security, and data protection; and leading digital and AI adoption initiatives. The role also coordinates emergency telecommunications with government agencies, humanitarian partners, and private-sector stakeholders, including preparedness assessments, response activation, information-sharing, and reporting. The successful candidate will develop regional capacity frameworks, readiness plans, and measurable implementation outcomes. Candidates should hold an advanced university degree in management, information technology, or emergency telecommunications, or a first university degree supplemented by additional relevant experience or training. At least five years of progressively responsible experience with a master’s degree, or seven years with a postgraduate university degree, is required in IT and communications, emergency telecommunications, project management, or coordination. Required experience includes managing projects, supporting change management, establishing service standards, testing hardware, analyzing service performance, and implementing IT or telecommunications systems in emergencies. Experience in multi-country operations, government and partner coordination, preparedness, technology governance, digital transformation, and AI adoption is desirable. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
