Associate Vice President, Data Analytics Greater Guangzhou, China Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Data Analytics to generate insights and recommendations from large structured and unstructured datasets across risk and operations. The role applies statistical methods, predictive modelling, and AI/ML to develop practical, scalable solutions, translating business priorities into analytics use cases with measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include managing initiatives from solution design and validation through performance tracking and impact assessment, and collaborating with business, operations, and technology teams to implement solutions. The successful candidate will also establish measurement frameworks and share knowledge across the team. Applicants should hold a university degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data or information management, or a related discipline, and have at least six years of retail banking analytics experience, including modelling and AI/ML. Strong skills in extracting insights from large datasets and hands-on experience with Python, SQL/BigQuery, Tableau or QlikSense, and Google Cloud Platform are required. Experience in fraud, collections, underwriting, or KYC is an advantage. Candidates should communicate complex analysis clearly, work effectively with varied stakeholders, and demonstrate ownership and a strong service orientation.
