Vice President, Full-Stack Development, FX Trade

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Full-Stack Development to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of mission-critical foreign exchange trading systems. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, covering systems for pricing, execution, order routing, trade capture, and processing. Responsibilities include guiding a cross-functional engineering team, setting technical standards, and directing backend and real-time web application development. The successful candidate will partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate trading needs into scalable roadmaps and modernize infrastructure for performance, resilience, and growth. Candidates should bring deep experience delivering foreign exchange trading systems and leading full-stack engineering, with hands-on proficiency in a backend language such as Java, C++, or Go and modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript or React. Strong knowledge of distributed, concurrent, event-driven, and low-latency systems is required, along with experience in cloud infrastructure, containers, distributed caching, and automated testing. The role also calls for expertise in software engineering practices such as clean code, test-driven development, and continuous integration and delivery. Fluent spoken and written English and the ability to lead technical discussions and align engineering teams with business stakeholders are essential.
