The Company is seeking a senior AI Data and Knowledge Engineer to take on the role of Associate Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and evolution of enterprise-grade data and knowledge foundations for AI systems. This pivotal role demands a professional with deep expertise in data engineering, big data architecture, ETL/ELT design, and scalable backend pipeline development. The AVP will also be at the forefront of defining standards and architecture patterns to ensure that AI applications are supported by reliable, governed, and scalable data platforms. Key responsibilities include leading the technical design for AI-ready data platforms, owning data and knowledge architecture, and driving the adoption of modern data engineering practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and 8-14 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, platform engineering, or large-scale data systems. The role requires a strong background in distributed data processing technologies and experience in designing enterprise data architectures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading technical teams, influencing architecture decisions, and a strong understanding of data governance frameworks. Cloud certifications in AWS and/or Azure are a plus. The AVP will also be expected to coach and develop junior team members and represent the data and knowledge function in various technical forums. Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical designs clearly are essential for this position.
