The Company is in search of a Vice President for Data Platform Engineering to spearhead the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and innovation of its enterprise-wide data platform. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of a significant transformation, modernizing the global data ecosystem to unlock value through secure, scalable, and compliant data capabilities. This role is pivotal in driving the transition from legacy and on-prem systems to modern, cloud-native, and hybrid data platforms. The Vice President will be responsible for architecting and leading the development of a Multi-Agent ETL Platform, integrating AI agents for autonomous ETL task management, and defining data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines using scalable frameworks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on data governance, quality, and CI/CD for data pipelines are essential. Candidates for this role should have a hands-on background in data engineering, data platform strategy, or a related technical domain, with proven experience in leading global data engineering or platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, including experience with distributed data platforms, data pipeline tools, and proficiency in Python, SQL, and various data ecosystems. A deep understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance principles is required.
