Head of Investment, Registered Valuer, Corporate Real Estate

The Company is seeking a Head of Investment to lead its real estate investment business, grow its portfolio, and provide strategic advice to stakeholders. Responsibilities include setting business strategy and targets, originating opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading transactions from sourcing through completion. The role covers acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, portfolio restructuring, and asset enhancement across multiple property sectors. The successful candidate will build investor and industry relationships, lead negotiations, assess investment risks and returns, and oversee compliance, governance, budgets, and financial performance. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and be a Registered Valuer with the appropriate professional board. At least 10 years of relevant experience, including five years in a senior leadership role, is required, along with a record of closing high-value transactions and strong knowledge of the Malaysian property market. The role calls for expertise in valuation, financial modeling, feasibility analysis, investment appraisal, portfolio management, and capital markets, as well as negotiation, business development, and people leadership skills. A master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
