Head of HR Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of HR Operations to lead and develop an experienced team responsible for payroll, HR administration, HR services, and HR analytics. The role oversees reliable, high-quality, legally compliant processes and advances personnel cost planning, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven HR management. Responsibilities include optimizing and standardizing processes, developing HR systems and digital workflows, and identifying opportunities for automation and AI. The Head of HR Operations will also lead cross-functional projects, support organizational change, and partner with HR leaders, executives, and employee representatives to strengthen the function. Candidates should have substantial experience in HR Operations, HR Services, shared services, or a comparable operational HR organization, along with demonstrated disciplinary leadership experience. Strong knowledge of German payroll, income tax, and social security is required, as is experience with HR administration, personnel controlling, cost planning, reporting, and process digitization. Applicants should be proficient with modern HR systems and integrated HR technology, and have experience in a large, structured organization. Excellent leadership and communication skills, a pragmatic and organized approach, and the ability to guide change and engage diverse stakeholders are essential.
