Associate Vice President, Business Functional Analyst Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Business Functional Analyst to support the migration of legacy risk-calculation and data-processing capabilities to a new technology platform. The role involves eliciting and prioritizing requirements with business, product, technology, and risk stakeholders; documenting current and target processes, calculation logic, data flows, controls, and exceptions; and translating needs into functional specifications, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria. The analyst will maintain requirements traceability, facilitate workshops and decisions, and support testing, reconciliation, defect triage, and user acceptance. The role also includes identifying delivery risks, dependencies, and control gaps, and communicating recommended actions. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant business or functional analysis experience, including substantial experience with legacy SAS platforms and risk-weighted asset calculations. Strong knowledge of banking data, regulatory or risk processes, data lineage, reconciliations, and controls is required, along with the ability to analyze complex programs and translate their logic into requirements for Python-based solutions. Applicants should bring expertise in process modeling, use cases, Agile requirements management, stakeholder facilitation, and system testing or user acceptance testing. Strong communication skills and the ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly are also required.
