Head of Program Management, Automotive Stamping/BIW

The Company is seeking a Head of Program Management to oversee automotive stamping and body-in-white programs, ensuring they follow established processes and meet customer requirements. The role includes advising plant leadership on program performance, supporting program managers with training and improvement plans, and contributing to hiring decisions. The successful candidate will lead program and gate reviews, monitor key build and approval events, identify risks, and coordinate recovery plans to support successful launches. They will also ensure program initiatives are implemented and track performance against launch timelines, process adherence, plan variance, and contribution margins. Candidates should have an engineering degree and 20–25 years of experience in engineering, production, or program management within automotive manufacturing, preferably in stamping, body-in-white, or chassis operations. Experience working with passenger vehicle manufacturers and major automotive customers is required; PMP certification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of process engineering, program management, and production, along with analytical skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure, is essential.
