Vice President of Engineering Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Engineering Manager at Vice President level to lead engineering teams and advance infrastructure and deployment capabilities. Responsibilities include setting technical direction, guiding teams to deliver secure, scalable software, and managing resources, priorities, timelines, and delivery risks. The role also involves mentoring and developing colleagues, improving engineering processes and productivity, and translating business needs into technical solutions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will promote engineering standards, peer reviews, testing, reliability, and strong risk and control practices while advising senior stakeholders and supporting strategic improvements. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and have hands-on software engineering experience in a technical leadership role. Required technical expertise includes React Native and native iOS or Android development, React.js or comparable web frameworks, REST APIs, microservices, containers, and cloud platforms. Experience with AI-native and multi-agent architectures, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, reliability, automation, and SDLC optimization is also sought. Strong team leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and delivery skills are essential; experience in financial services or other regulated environments is valued.
