Vice President, Senior Engineer Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Engineer to lead the modernization of legacy SAS-based data solutions into scalable, maintainable Python platforms. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, including building reusable frameworks and data pipelines, setting engineering standards, and providing technical direction. Responsibilities include designing and operating scalable workflow orchestration, deploying containerized workloads on cloud-native platforms, and improving performance, reliability, and operational resilience. The successful candidate will also lead and develop an engineering team and collaborate with senior stakeholders across technical and control functions. Candidates should bring extensive engineering experience, ideally in complex, regulated enterprise environments, and expert-level Python skills, including object-oriented design, clean-code practices, reusable frameworks, and automated testing. Strong hands-on experience with workflow orchestration, Kubernetes, databases, Git, CI/CD, GitOps, and Docker is required, along with experience modernizing legacy data workloads. Knowledge of high-performance data processing and lakehouse technologies is advantageous. The role also calls for proven people leadership, sound architectural judgment, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly.
