Vice President, Senior Java Developer & Technical Lead Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Java Developer and Technical Lead to design, build, and maintain high-volume data and trade-reporting applications. Responsibilities include developing scalable backend services, integrating and processing trade data, optimizing database queries and data pipelines, and building automated validation, reconciliation, and error-handling processes. The role also leads technical design, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring, while coordinating with business, architecture, and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications. The successful candidate will also explore AI-enabled tools to streamline data mapping and analysis. Candidates should have 10–14 or more years of hands-on experience in Java development and data platforms, with strong Core Java, Spring Boot, concurrency, microservices, and REST API skills. Advanced SQL and database tuning experience, particularly with relational and big-data platforms, is required, along with practical knowledge of JSON, XML, data mapping, ETL, warehousing, and reconciliation. Familiarity with version control, issue tracking, documentation, and CI/CD tools is expected. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required; experience with financial regulatory reporting, messaging systems, AI tools, Python, cloud platforms, or modern data platforms is an advantage.
