Global Vice President of Engineering, Mechatronic Systems

The Company is seeking a Global Vice President of Engineering for Mechatronic Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership of the global R&D organization, with a focus on the development of mechatronic systems and the innovative product portfolio. This role requires experience in building and leading a global development team for complex electrical and/or mechatronic systems, particularly in the automotive industry. The VP will be tasked with optimizing development processes, managing innovation, and reducing development times, with a strong emphasis on digital validation through simulation and calculation. Applicants must have a proven track record in comprehensive budget responsibility and be adept at developing cost-optimized solutions. Expertise in design-to-cost, target costing, and value engineering is essential. The role demands a leader who can drive the global development sites, establish engineering standards, and ensure competitive product designs.
