Interim Vice President, Solid Organ Transplant Destination Service Line

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Solid Organ Transplant Destination Service Line. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with executive leadership and medical leaders to develop and execute a strategic plan that prioritizes quality outcomes, volume growth, and patient satisfaction. This role involves representing the company in interactions with external health systems, organ procurement organizations, and regulatory agencies. The Vice President will also be tasked with developing and enhancing relationships with partner health systems to elevate quality, increase access, and reduce health disparities. Direct and indirect management oversight of all areas associated with the designated services is a key aspect of the position, as is the responsibility for administrative, regulatory, and fiscal oversight of the service line. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred, and at least 14 years of related work experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in both hospital and outpatient clinic management, strategic market planning, and business development. Strong financial analysis, management, and long-range planning skills are essential, as is the ability to interact positively with physicians and lead a culture of high-quality, integrated care delivery. The role requires a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and transformation, as well as the ability to mentor and develop a strong team culture. Experience with Lean, JIT, or Six Sigma techniques, and the ability to work with senior executives and faculty across various levels of expertise, are also necessary.
