The Company is seeking a Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development to serve as the senior academic leader dedicated to advancing faculty excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership in all aspects of faculty management, including recruitment, appointment, onboarding, development, promotion, retention, recognition, engagement, and succession planning. This role requires a champion for faculty success, fostering a culture of academic excellence, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. The Vice Dean will also be a key member of the Dean's Executive Leadership Team, partnering with discipline directors and faculty to develop and implement policies and initiatives that enhance individual and institutional success. Candidates for the Vice Dean position must have a D.D.S./DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent, with a strong preference for those with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a dental school or health-related academic institution. The role demands a proven track record in faculty development, including the creation and implementation of comprehensive faculty development strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accreditation processes and standards in dental education, as well as experience in building and maintaining partnerships with various stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, the ability to oversee faculty and resources, and a commitment to faculty well-being and engagement are essential. The Vice Dean will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with institutional policies and for contributing to the strategic planning and assessment activities of the institution.
