Managing Director, Strategy & Transformation
About the Role
Greater Washington D.C. Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Strategy and Transformation team. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic and change initiatives that are at the core of the company's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project strategy, mentoring and coaching project teams, and driving innovative thinking in strategy development. They will also be involved in defining the overall corporate strategy, identifying and driving organic growth opportunities, and supporting M&A and business development activities. The role requires a deep expertise in strategy and finance, the ability to structure approaches to complex problems, and a strong focus on maintaining the company's world-class client service and go-to-market practices. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree such as an MBA. A CFA or CPA is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of experience, with a strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. They should possess excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong Microsoft Office skills. The role demands a high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders, and a proven track record of executive-level communication. The candidate should be self-aware, proactive in seeking self-improvement, and demonstrate a passion for driving lasting change.
