Vice President of Inpatient Services

Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Inpatient Services to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of the inpatient division of nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations, including the planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating of programs and services. This role involves ensuring nursing quality, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and fiscal and operational performance. The VP will also be a key participant in decision-making at various levels and will represent inpatient nursing on external committees and task forces. As a member of the Nursing Executive Leadership Team, the VP will collaborate with various stakeholders to advance high-reliability care, operational discipline, and workforce engagement. Candidates for the Vice President of Inpatient Services position at the company must have a Master’s degree, a BSN, and a minimum of 15 years of nursing experience, with at least 7 years in a clinical setting. A strong background in pediatric inpatient nursing practice and experience in a children's hospital or academic pediatric healthcare setting is preferred. The role requires advanced knowledge of care delivery, patient flow, and safety, as well as a proven track record in managing budgets, quality outcomes, and change initiatives. The ideal candidate will have exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, and the ability to lead large-scale change and transformation initiatives. A current unencumbered RN license and board certification as a nurse executive are also required.
