Executive Director Greater Evansville, IN Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to oversee facility operations and ensure programs follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Responsibilities include guiding supervisors and direct care staff in program planning, development, training, and implementation; supporting hiring and performance management; and establishing systems to organize and monitor work. The Executive Director will coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies, implement emergency protocols, and collaborate with managers and department leaders to support effective operations. The role also includes identifying staff development needs and contributing to organization-wide projects. Candidates must have either a master’s degree and at least two years of experience administering human services, or a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of such experience. The role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, and consistently meet timelines with minimal supervision. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills are important, along with a compassionate, dependable, patient, and service-focused approach.
