Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greater San Antonio, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee accounting operations and partner with ownership on financial strategy. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, vendor management, tax filings, banking, and cash flow. The CFO will lead monthly close and reporting processes, strengthen accounting policies and internal controls, analyze financial trends and variances, and recommend solutions to improve performance. The role also oversees the accounting team, commission statements, sub-ledgers, and required regulatory filings. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 8–10 years of accounting experience; a CPA designation is preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting is required, while experience leading a team and familiarity with transportation or household goods accounting are preferred. Applicants should bring financial analysis and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, and experience with accounting software is preferred.
